About the artist's work
Seeking. My art has in the past been done when time
allowed. Now I am able to take off from work and
focus on developing my art. My style is still
developing and seeking. I like to work with water
color, ink (sumi), oil, pastel, and charcoal. I am
not limiting myself to my preferences and will be
trying other media in the near future. I like to
work with the human form and portraiture. I have
done some abstract and done well with it. Currently
with my jewelry design I am working with wire and
beads of all types in twisting/braiding and wrapping.
I am also working with woven wall hangings made of
natural found objects, mainly the decorative grasses
for there color variety. I am working toward a
collaboration of woven/painted/beaded art.
